I am Duncan Murray, a highly driven and accomplished professional with a diverse background in Risk Management, Business Intelligence, Finance, and Information Security. My journey has taken me through various industries and continents, equipping me with a unique skill set that blends technical prowess with strategic acumen.
As the Founder of Treehouse Trading Group (TTG), I thrive on collaboratively supporting and managing multiple brands, including Treehouse Publishing Circle (TPC), Murray Digital Workshop (MDW), and Duncan Sauces. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, my team and I ensure seamless operations, data protection and freedom to express creative desgin with our ventures.
In my most recent move pre-COVID I relocatedg to Regiaonal Victoria, Australia, I returned to my financial roots with Rabobank, specializing in agricultural financing for family-run farms. This experience reinforced the paramount importance of data security in the finance sector, fueling my passion for safeguarding critical data and assets.
During my time in New South Wales, I sought opportunities in Age/Disability Care to provide dedicated care for my aging and disabled mother. Through this journey, I obtained a Certification III from T.A.F.E., gaining valuable insights into privacy protection and data security in sensitive environments.
In the United States, my career blossomed with roles in Finance, Business Management, Insurance, and Law. For 13 years, I contributed to the success of the Salt Lake City government, particularly in Risk Management, where I skillfully handled legal claims and implemented digital solutions to optimize workflows. The digitization of financial information for Salt Lake City stands as a testament to my commitment to efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and data security.
I also freelance as a Paralegal, leveraging my expertise and degree to manage multiple tasks and negotiate effectively. My background in psychology aids in understanding the needs of various stakeholders and fostering collaborative solutions.
As I continue to pursue certifications in cybersecurity, including CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+ (Security Analytics), and CompTIA PenTest (Penetration Testing), I am thrilled to harness my diverse skill set to extend into the cyber world further than before.
